Privacy Policy
This policy explains what aichatbot.best collects when you use the free AI chat on this site, why we collect it, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to the whole domain, including the chat page, the blog and the news section. Last updated: 17 August 2026.
Who runs this site
aichatbot.best is an independent website that gives free browser access to an AI chat assistant. We are not affiliated with xAI, X Corp., OpenAI or Google, and we do not speak on their behalf. Questions about this policy go to hello@aichatbot.best.
What we collect
- Chat messages. The text you type into the chat window, any link or file you attach, and the answers generated in reply. They are processed so the assistant can respond, and kept only long enough to keep a conversation coherent and to investigate abuse.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, referring page and time of visit — written to server logs automatically, as on any website.
- Analytics data. Pages viewed, time on page and rough country-level location, collected in aggregate to see which material is useful.
- Anything you send us. If you write to hello@aichatbot.best, we keep the message and your address in order to answer.
We do not ask for a name, a phone number or a payment card, and we do not run user accounts. Please do not put passwords, medical records, financial details or other sensitive personal data into the chat — it is not a secure channel for them.
Why we may use it
- To generate answers and keep the chat working during your session.
- To keep the service available and defend it against spam, scraping and abuse.
- To understand which pages people read, so we know what to write next.
Who else sees it
The chat itself runs on third-party AI infrastructure, so the text of your messages is transmitted to the model provider that generates the answer, and is handled under that provider’s own terms. Hosting and analytics providers process technical data on our behalf. We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to advertisers. We disclose information to authorities only when a valid legal request obliges us to.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar browser storage to remember your interface preferences and to run analytics. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the chat will still work, but some preferences will not be remembered between visits.
How long we keep it
Server logs and analytics records are kept for a limited retention period and then deleted or aggregated beyond recognition. Chat conversations are retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. Email correspondence is kept while the matter is open.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and the UK, or the CCPA in California — you may ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, or object to a particular use. Write to hello@aichatbot.best and we will answer within a reasonable time, normally within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age set by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from them; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the service changes. The revision date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
