This policy explains what we collect when you use the free AI chat on aichatbot.best, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
1. The short version
You can use the chat without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or address. We do process the messages you send, because that is how the assistant answers them, and we collect ordinary website analytics.
2. What we collect
Chat messages. The text you type is sent to a third-party model provider so an answer can be generated and returned to you.
Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, language setting, and the times of your requests. This is standard server and analytics data.
Usage analytics. Which pages were opened, how long a session lasted, and aggregated interaction counts. We use Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica for this.
Cookies and local storage. Small files that keep your session, remember your preferences, and let analytics distinguish one visit from another.
Payment data, if you buy access. Handled by the payment provider. We receive confirmation of the payment, not your full card number.
3. Why we process it
- To run the chat and return answers to your questions.
- To keep the Service available and protect it from abuse, spam, and automated overload.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them.
- To meet legal obligations and to handle billing where paid access is used.
4. Who else sees your data
- AI model providers, which process the text of your messages to generate a reply.
- Analytics providers (Google, Yandex), which receive technical and usage data.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, which store and transmit the data needed to serve the site.
- Payment providers, for paid access only.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertising brokers.
5. How long we keep it
Server and analytics logs are retained for up to 12 months. Chat messages are retained only as long as needed to operate the Service and detect abuse, and are deleted or aggregated after that. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@aichatbot.best. We reply within 30 days.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure and our providers operate in several countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you are in. We rely on the standard safeguards offered by those providers.
9. Independence
AI Chatbot is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by xAI or Grok, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other AI provider. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
